Afsal Ismail, better known simply as Afsal, is an Indian playback singer in Malayalam cinema, with a career spanning over two decades. He was born on April 14, 1974, in Kochi, Kerala, India. Afsal developed a passion for music at a young age and began singing in 1992, performing the songs of the legendary S.P. His first film song was "Kannilambum Villum" for the movie Valyettan in 2000.
